Error in WP 2.8
Saturday, June 20th, 2009I updated both my sites to the latest wordpress version 2.8 but it gave me headache at first. It would not read my posts and I was bothered because I nominated my other blog in a contest and it couldn’t display errors. So I checked out what’s wrong under the wp-includes/formatting.php file and to my surprise it was about the smilies. So I tried deactivating my custom smilies plugin and it worked. My posts were visible again.
The only one thing I hate is that I could no longer use my cute smilies. It was just so frustrating. After having headaches reading the tutorials on how to install them, they would no longer be available. I haven’t researched about how to work with this… but I think there is still no solution.
I want my smilies to appear soon. Have you experienced the same, too? Or you had other problems?
