November recap

1. Volunteered for our company’s community day. I taught Grade 4 students about financial literacy. I used to do volunteer work when I didn’t have formal employment yet—repacking relief goods, working at a contact center for Filipinos living in Japan and their families in the Philippines. I would like to do more of this; I hope time permits me to do so!

2. Celebrated Lyan’s birthday at Fogo de Chão. It was definitely a unique experience, and my first churrasco. My favorites were both lamb and beef picanha! The best was the lamb—I even asked for another serving! The waiters were also pleasant. It was a little excessive, but it was worth it—celebrating birthdays and trying new things. Is it a place we would come back to? Maybe, but not regularly. Only during special occasions, and probably not as indulgent anymore.

3. Went to another rally today, Nov 30.

4. Moving apartments is quite slow but progressing. I don’t think a Christmas tree will be put up anymore since there will be just one week left before Christmas when we finally settle there. I need to buy a lamp soon because all the lighting there is too warm for my taste.
